
Participants will: identify the four principles of communication and what causes interference in the process; identify the types of nonverbal communication and discover the truths and myths about body language; evaluate their own listening skills and identify and practice the skills of active listening; understand the difference between focusing on behavior and personality; the value of specificity; and, understand the various types of questions and when to use each and the need to focus on the ability to manage a conversation by using questions effectively.
